Study the cartoon character before doing animation

Posted by: findglitt on: March 27, 2009

The poses study is more helpful in getting accurate results in action , rather than the cartoon character doing something in the movie. Usually artists hold a scrap book to gather ideas from live study, i.e real life study.

After designing the cartoon character, we are always eager to make it act. But the problem comes when we actually try to animate in the way we have in mind. We might not be well aware of the action skills of the character. It is always a good practice to study the actual key pose before doing the animation.

Happy animating!
